Champagne Gimonnet Gonet

Champagne Gimonnet-Gonet is an independent grower champagne house located in the heart of France's prestigious Côte des Blancs. Founded in 1986, this family estate spans approximately 13.5 hectares of vineyards. The historic headquarters and winery are based in the famous Grand Cru village of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.
Two Contrasting Terroirs
-
Côte des Blancs (Grands Crus): Pure chalk soils planted with 100% Chardonnay. This gives their champagnes intense tension, citrus freshness, and a sharp, chalky minerality. There are Vintage Champagne made with this Chardonnay
-
Vallée de la Marne: Clay and marl soils planted with Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. This adds richness and fleshy fruit depth to their blends.
"Adaptive" Eco-Farming
-
HVE Certified: Certified for High Environmental Value.
-
Deep Roots: They drastically restrict fertilizers, forcing vine roots deep into the chalk bedrock to pull maximum terroir flavor.
-
No Insecticides: They use natural pheromones (mating disruption) instead of chemicals to control pests.
-
Micro-Plot Separation: Every single parcel is harvested and fermented separately in the cellar to keep its exact soil identity intact.
